We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling any available security features.

When using Pingmer, you agree not to:

• Scrape or use bots: Don't use automated tools to access Pingmer without our permission.
• Engage in abuse or harassment: Don't use our service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Conduct illegal activities: Don't use Pingmer for any purpose that violates applicable laws.
• Circumvent security measures: Don't attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features.
• Impersonate others: Don't pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your affiliation.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination at our discretion.

News content: Pingmer tracks publicly available news from various sources. We don't own the news content we track—it belongs to the original publishers.

Our property: The Pingmer name, logo, website design, user interface, and underlying code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute these without our permission.

AI-generated content: Summaries and analysis generated by our AI are provided for informational purposes. They may contain errors or oversimplifications. Always verify important information from original sources.

Pingmer is provided as a convenience. Please understand that:

• Tracking is best-effort: We try to find relevant updates, but we can't guarantee we'll catch everything.
• AI analysis may have errors: Our summaries and categorizations are automated and may be inaccurate.
• We don't endorse content: Tracking a story doesn't mean we agree with or endorse the content.
• Availability is not guaranteed: The service may experience downtime for maintenance or unforeseen issues.

Pingmer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pingmer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Our maximum liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Pingmer is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

If you have a dispute with us, we'd like to resolve it informally first.

• Step 1: Contact us with a description of your concern.
• Step 2: We'll work with you for up to 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
• Step 3: If we can't reach a resolution, any legal action will be subject to the laws and courts of the United States.

By you: You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your data will be retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted.

By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. We'll try to give notice when possible, but this isn't always feasible.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website or notify you by email.

Continuing to use Pingmer after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you should stop using the service.
